Stripes and a Red Spot - Jupiter
Our K4 students learned about Jupiter today. Through telescopes we can see that Jupiter has cloud belts and The Great Red Spot which is a storm that had been raging on the planet for over 350 years. Our K4 students experimented hands-on with red and yellow dye to create their own “cloud belt” of color.
Did you know that Jupiter is the largest planet orbiting the Sun? Did you know that Jupiter is over 300 times larger than the Earth? Did you know that Jupiter’s day is about 10 hours long?
Does your child know these facts? Our K4 students do!
